MYSORE TRIP

I Rahul Singh posting this blog from Srinidhi mail due to some technical issue while logging. During Diwali vacations me along with my friends had a trip to the one of the cleanest city of India i.e. Mysore. We left Chennai on 3rd November & reached next day early morning 6.30. The climate was very cool and pleasant & enjoyed the bliss of the cleanest city. At first we had the authentic Davangere benne Dosa as breakfast and moved to our visit the "MYSORE PALACE".

Mysore palace which is an official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty , and the seat of the kingdom faces towards east representing the hills where Chamundi Devi is resided .

The architectural style of domes of the the palace is commonly described as Indo Saracen with blends of Hindu, Mughal ,Rajput & Gothic styles & also the palace is surrounded by a large garden area. The night view of the palace was magnificent decorated with the lights.

After the visit of palace we went to the zoo. The Mysore zoo is one of the oldest and most popular in India. Started in the mid of noon with scorching sun above our head and finished the entire visit by evening .

This picture of Bear having a nap after lunch was one of the adorable moment. Later we went to St. Philomena's Church.

After seeing the beautiful architectural view of the church we called the day off , as we were tired of seeing many places. The next morning with the fresh mood we went to the Chamundi hills 15 km from Palace. There was a long Que for the the Darshan of Chamundeshwari Devi and later we were blessed after seeing the shrine .

After the hill visit , we came to Railway Station to catch the Chennai train & back to the destination on 6th morning. Exploring new cities , cultures , traditions , food , climate ... etc are one the best experiences of life , Where we can understand how people live , communicate. This 2 days trip along with my new MBA friends was really amazing which really freshened up my mind from the daily hectic routine of college.
