Tilari Waterfalls

Tilari waterfalls is a naturesque waterfalls located at around 65 km from Belagavi Karnataka. The waterfalls can be spotted from Swapnavel  point & the beauty of the landscapes can be enjoyed from the ghats. Ghat section after kadoli is awesome , but extremely dangerous because of curves.

I had been to Tilari during my last semester of Engineering in the month of March 2018 along with my friends. During our journey we didn't find any shops, restaurants, petrol pumps & not even a single person throughout the route, so it was very difficult to identify the exact location. As the falls was in the mid of Jungle we had to walk 4 to 5 km & there were no proper directions written, kind of a discrete trip. Overall it was a good experience enjoyed the Jacuzzi of the falls, Relaxed in the water. Later we came back to Belagavi to have lunch around 3.30 pm  and called the day off .

To enjoy the nature beauty at its best Tilari falls is the right place to relax from your daily hectic routine☮.

  1. Nice pix, Srinidhi! Though you had difficulty in locating the place, in a way am glad 'tourists' do not know about a picturesque place...as they would end up littering and polluting the place. What do you say?!

  2. Yea it's true,I found many educated people polluting the nature beauty with all plastics & other stuff 😡. According to me the state government should take some intiative & make some entry fees for the falls , which will be later used for the maintenance & cleanliness. And those who found littering & polluting, A high penalty should be charged so as to conserve the naturesque place.

  3. And to add on my point the proper directions (indications) should also be written, so as to avoid confusion for the tourists.

  4. Agree to what you said, Srinidhi. Unless the Indian mindset towards public property changes, it is very difficult to bring about change. High penalties that are implemented goes a long way in creating that mindset.
